About the Opportunity

The Manager of Faculty HR Administration plays a key role in supporting the full faculty lifecycle at the College of Arts, Media, and Design. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Administration and Finance, this position serves as the college lead for faculty recruitment, hiring, promotion, tenure, sabbaticals, and compliance. The Manager ensures that all faculty affairs processes align with university policies, employment regulations, and collective bargaining agreements while collaborating with key partners across CAMD and the university.

The Manager is responsible for coordinating and tracking faculty appointments, appointment renewals, promotions, salary planning, and compensation processes, ensuring efficient workflows and compliance with institutional policies.

The Manager also coordinates sabbatical, tenure, and promotion processes, including tracking eligibility, facilitating dossier submission through Interfolio, and liaising with university leadership to ensure timely review. Additionally, they serve as the SEVIS contact for CAMD, managing visa processing for permanent residency, H-1B, O-1, and J-1 applicants in collaboration with the Office of Global Services (OGS) and the Office of General Counsel (OGC).

Supervising HR personnel, the Manager establishes annual goals, priorities, and best practices for faculty hiring, onboarding, and policy compliance that are in line with guidance from the Office of the Provost. This position requires a high level of discretion, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while ensuring smooth operations and responsive faculty support.
