Responsibilities 

The Caylor-Nickel Foundation Family YMCA, is seeking an attentive Sports and Aquatics Coordinator to help with the supervision and implementation of programs for the YMCA. 

• Create: Generate schedules and sports rosters for the YMCA sports programs.
• Lead: Conduct lifeguard training in the absence of the Aquatics Director.
• Support: Assist with lifeguarding, teaching swimming lessons, and helping referee when requested.

Requirements 

Candidates must be committed to contributing to the mission, culture, and values of the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne as well as:

• Must be 18 years old. 
• Ability to have a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to maintain professionalism while supervising with fairness and tact.
• Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification or willingness to be trained. 
• Positive, service-oriented attitude with diverse groups of people regarding age, abilities, ethnicity, gender, race, economic status, religion, etc.

Salary: $14.40-$14.90 hourly
