We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Junior IT Project Manager to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you’ll support a variety of initiatives by organizing, analyzing, and tracking projects from start to finish. This is a cross-functional position that plays a key role in ensuring our projects stay on track, meet objectives, and are successfully integrated into daily operations.

This is a hybrid role based in either Marietta, GA or Richmond, VA. After a successful first 30 days, you’ll shift to a 3-days remote / 2-days in-office schedule.

• Track the status of program deliverables and milestones across multiple projects
• Assist in the adoption and integration of project deliverables into operations
• Monitor projects as they transition into ongoing service and support
• Provide timely and accurate reporting on project status and progress
• Maintain project documentation, communications, and templates
• Analyze project data to identify trends, issues, or variances
• Organize workshops to identify areas for project improvement and present recommendations
• Update and manage the overall program plan using input from Project Managers and stakeholders
• Support change control, quality assurance, and knowledge-sharing activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in project coordination or analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Project, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, MS Project, or similar)
• Understanding of both agile and waterfall methodologies is a plus
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of print and direct mail marketing is a plus
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Basic understanding of database design concepts (e.g., primary/foreign keys, indexes, triggers)
• Familiarity with structured query language (SQL)
• Basic knowledge of development principles (e.g., control structures, variables, object-oriented programming)
