Why this role matters: As a Solution Architect (Telco), you will play a key role in designing technical solutions for telecommunications platforms, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with business goals. Your contributions will help shape telco infrastructure, OSS/BSS integration, and cloud adoption, ultimately transforming the way we optimize telecommunications operations.

What success looks like: In your first year, you will:

  • Develop high-level architectural designs for telco systems, ensuring seamless integration across platforms.
  • Lead the integration of OSS/BSS platforms with network infrastructure, enhancing efficiency and automation.
  • Implement cloud-native and hybrid cloud architectures, driving scalability and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the development of high-level designs for telco systems, ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Plan and oversee the integration of OSS/BSS platforms with network infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement technical architectures efficiently.
  • Provide technical guidance on telco-specific technologies and best practices.
  • Manage the performance and capacity optimization of telecommunications platforms.
  • Design and implement hybrid cloud solutions for telco use cases.
  • Ensure adherence to telecommunications security and compliance standards.
  • Evaluate and introduce new technologies to enhance system capabilities and efficiency.
  • Communicate solution designs effectively to both technical and business stakeholders.

Qualifications & Attributes

We’re seeking someone who embodies the following:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 7+ years in solution architecture within telco domains.

Technical Skills:

  • Must-haves:
    • Deep understanding of telco-specific platforms, protocols, and networking standards.
    • Experience designing hybrid cloud solutions for telecommunications.
    • Proficiency in telco security and compliance requirements.
    • Strong ability to communicate designs effectively to stakeholders.
  • Nice-to-haves:
    • Knowledge of emerging telco technologies, such as 5G, NFV, and SDN.

Unique Attributes:

  • Thrives in fast-paced telecommunications environments requiring strategic problem-solving.
  • Possesses strong leadership and communication skills to align technical designs with business goals.
  • Excels with modern telco architectures, cloud solutions, and next-generation networking technologies.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Relevant certifications in telco architecture frameworks (e.g., TM Forum, TOGAF).
