Job Description 

Title: Part-Time Designer 

Overview: 

gusto! is an Atlanta-based fast casual restaurant group with 13 company-owned locations. We proudly serve healthy, flavorful bowls and wraps made with fresh, vibrant ingredients because we believe food should reawaken the body and soul. 2025 is set to be the most important year 

in the company’s history with a significant investment in brand awareness marketing to supercharge our sales growth. 

Position Summary: 

● Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid/In-House) 

● Department: Marketing 

● Reports to: Creative Brand Manager (Oct-Dec 2025); Sr. Director of Marketing (Jan-Mar 2026) 

● Employment Type: Part-Time ~25 hours/week (Oct-Dec 2025); ~40 hours/week (Jan-Mar 2026) 

We are looking for a talented part-time designer to join our team, and to bolster our creative roster. The hours required vary over the coming months: 

1. October-December 2025: To work part-time at ~25 hours/week, reporting into our Creative Brand Manager 

2. January-March 2026: To serve as the brand’s primary (and only) in-house designer while our Creative Brand Manager is on maternity leave. This will require an increase in hours to ~40/week in order to fully support the team’s design needs. During this time, this role would report into the Sr. Director of Marketing. 

As a Part-Time Designer, you’ll help concept, create, and produce a range of digital assets that fuel marketing campaigns and day-to-day brand storytelling. From email to social graphics, you’ll work alongside our marketing team to elevate the way we show up across platforms. This

is a great opportunity for a self-motivated designer with strong fundamentals and a passion for food, culture, and bold design. 

Key Responsibilities: 

● Design digital assets including: 

○ Organic social, paid social and loyalty program graphics 

○ Email campaigns and templates (experience in Adobe and Canva a plus) ○ Website banners, landing pages, and other web-based assets 

○ In-store digital signage and menu board content 

● Collaborate with the rest of the marketing team on campaign concepts and content calendars 

● Collaborate with freelance copywriter, as needed 

● Assist in photo editing, light retouching, and asset management 

● Maintain visual consistency with gusto!’s brand standards and voice ● Participate in brainstorms, creative reviews, and occasional content shoots ● Stay up to date with digital design trends, tools, and best practices 

● Project manage some creative deliverables for the marketing team 

Qualifications: 

● 3-5 years of experience in graphic or digital design, specifically designing for email, social, and some print 

● Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; After Effects is a bonus) 

● Familiarity with Canva or similar collaborative design tools 

● Strong portfolio showcasing digital design work, including social, email, and/or web ● Animation skills not required, but a plus 

● Attention to detail, solid typography, and layout skills 

● Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects ● Ability to project manage some creative deliverables for the marketing team (in Asana) ● A growth mindset, curiosity, and willingness to learn from feedback 

● Bonus: Experience with food or hospitality brands
