About the role
Join a high-performing Enterprise Finance team and help shape the future of global financial reporting and controls. This is a unique opportunity to build deep expertise in group consolidation, technical accounting, and risk management across a complex, multinational structure.
As a Senior Manager, Financial Control, you’ll play a key role in enhancing the consolidation and reporting of the group, including international subsidiaries, and improving related processes and controls. You’ll work closely with global finance teams, lead month-end close activities, and drive the implementation of key policies and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver month-end close in line with a global close timetable
Coordinate group-wide consolidation with international finance teams
Design, implement and monitor key finance policies across the group
Oversee the global finance risk matrix and drive continuous improvement
Review key balance sheet reconciliations and maintain monthly consolidation
Translate technical accounting advice into actionable insights
Participate in the end-to-end external audit process
Design and implement a robust global finance intercompany matrix
What We’re Looking For:
CPA or CA qualified
Proven experience in complex ASX-listed groups
Strong understanding of accounting standards including IFRS and UK GAAP
Experience working with foreign subsidiaries and integrating acquisitions
Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills
Strong finance systems experience
A self-starter who can operate independently and take ownership of outcomes
A natural coach and mentor who enjoys developing team capability
Deep technical accounting expertise, with confidence applying complex standards
Clear and confident communicator, able to engage stakeholders at all levels, both written and verbal
Highly organised, especially when working under pressure and tight deadlines
Disciplined approach to financial control, with exceptional attention to detail
