Warehouse/Forklift Operator 2nd shift

2nd Shift Monday - Friday 3pm-11pm

Allow me to introduce you to Kutol Products Company, we are a thriving hand soap and hand sanitizer manufacturer operating out of our Silver LEED Certified facility in Sharonville, Ohio. We process and package both cosmetic and drug formulas that work with our proprietary dispensing systems across the country and beyond. We are currently seeking a shipping and receiving teammate to join us in our purpose of providing “Clean Hands for a Healthy World.” 

At Kutol our shipping and receiving teammates performs material handling and inventory control duties to maintain efficient warehouse operations. Prepare orders with correct products and counts for on-time shipment to customer by truck or FedEx daily. Receive incoming goods and sign paperwork for correct amount received. Currently we have opening for Shipping and Receiving Teammate on 2nd Shift

The varied duties of this role allow team members to grow their skills, responsibilities of this position include:

• Correctly pull orders from stock to ship on a daily basis and consistently meet goals for pounds picked.
• Receive raw material and correctly stock said material and finished goods.
• Set up production lines with raw materials in a timely manner to facilitate customer orders.
• Make certain outgoing or incoming shipments have correct products and counts, and that any special customer instructions are followed.
• Take items received from incoming trucks or FedEx and put in correct area, quarantine area, proper rack location or person designated to receive.
• Facilitate movement of materials within the warehouse by moving finished goods and raw materials to correct stock holes as locations become available.
• Perform duties following First In/First Out (FIFO) standards to maintain inventory.
• As incoming materials are released, move material to proper location so that the quarantine area is cleared in a timely manner.
• Apply knowledge of raw material, rework/repair, in-process and finished product location systems to ensure correct and efficient use of those systems.
• Ensure safe operation of stand-up forklifts, follow safe stacking, un-stacking and wrapping procedures, follow safe work practices in completion of tasks.
• Maintain 5S standards for safety and good housekeeping daily, complete these tasks prior to handing off to the oncoming shift.
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education & Experience: 

• High School Diploma or GED
• 6 months prior shipping and receiving experience with forklift certification, stand-up forklift skills preferred.

Knowledge/Skills & Abilities:

• Detail oriented, able to complete associated tasks accurately.
• Ability to meet productivity and efficiency goals for the position.
• Good interpersonal skills and communications.
• Good housekeeping and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform fundamental computer operation and data entry, utilize RF scanners.
• Forklift certification and demonstrated understanding of safe operation, stand-up forklift preferred.

Physical/Mental Requirements:

• Lifting/moving objects (to the waist): up to 60lbs 20-50% of the time.
• Ability to safely operate a stand-up forklift and all its controls.
• Stand/walk up to 90% of the time; sit 10% of the time.

Second shift shipping and receiving hours are Monday through Friday 3pm - 11pm. Depending on skills/experience starting pay is $19 to $20/hour plus $1.00/hour shift differential. A review and opportunity for a raise occurs after 3 months, on your one year anniversary and annually thereafter.
