This is an exciting opportunity to join the Benelux Project & Engineering team. You are based in Mechelen (BE) and will closely collaborate with our customers, other stakeholders and your colleagues all over the world.

Together with your direct colleagues ( 3 in Belgium and 4 in the Netherlands), you will work on developing and executing Air Treatment related projects in industrial and process industries, mainly for the South of Belgium and Luxembourg. Your involvement will span the full cycle from project definition together with the sales department, design, production, contracting and implementation until commissioning of installations on site. In this role you have direct contact with the customer, suppliers and subcontractors. You will work closely together with our Sales and Service department on projects that can vary in size between € 10k to several MEUR. You are a true team player with social skills for people and customer management and approach projects and project handling in an analytical and solution-oriented way.

Key Activities & Responsibilities
  • Preparing and executing Munters projects from the kickoff till the end of the warranty period our DH, WET and Service sales product portfolio. You will be in charge of the engineering, planning, budget control and running a correct project administration;
  • Give support and being a technical sparring partner for the Sales Engineers during pre-sales engineering;
  • Purchasing internal at factories and external at local supplier and subcontractors;
  • Planning and coordinating project executions with all parties involved. (Meetings, deliveries, mechanical and electrical works and knowledge of P&ID’s, wiring diagrams, flow diagrams, commissioning, warranty interventions)
  • Creating as-built document files and folders;
  • Follow up regular invoicing and closing of projects;
  • Strong working together with sales and service team;
  • Assess supplier offers on the technical aspects and price level;
  • Keep the different stakeholders out- and inside the company informed.


Skills, Abilities & Background
  • Minimal Prof. Bach. Electro Mechanics or equivalent by experience;
  • ENG & FR (NL is a plus);
  • Reading and understanding of CAD drawings, wiring diagrams, P&ID’s, flow charts;
  • Able to adapt or draw small CAD. (SolidWorks, AutoCad);
  • Team player who can work independently as well;
  • Strong communicator;
  • In possession of a valid driver's license.


What We Offer

We offer a competitive market salary and a contract for 38 hours per week to perform in a 36-hour system (full-time). Your official location will be the Mechelen office, but you will travel all through Belgium and Luxembourg. We follow Joint Committee 200.

We have 20 vacation days, 1 extralegal day and 12 ADV days (full time and full year). We also offer additional group insurance, hospitalization insurance, meal and eco vouchers, the annual premium as in force within PC 200 and a Profit Sharing Plan.
