We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Growth Engineering team. The team is aiming to reshape our business model, focusing on how we attract teams and better connect them to our value proposition.


As the Engineering Manager of Growth, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding this transformation. You'll collaborate closely with Data Engineering, Payments team, and other user-facing teams to deliver impactful, data-driven initiatives that drive our growth objectives. What Makes You Special

  • 2+ Years' EM Experience. You bring a minimum 2 years of experience as an Engineering Manager of a user-facing engineering team. A computer science education or equivalent is a plus!
  • Business acumen. You have a strong understanding of business metrics, are data driven and curious about how the business runs.
  • Data engineering & analytics. You are familiar with data pipelines, event tracking strategies and tooling (Looker, Snowplow, Amplitude, etc.) and experimentation platforms. You can work autonomously with metrics dashboards.
  • Entrepreneurial. You have a proactive and self-driven mindset, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and initiative in achieving business objectives. You iterate quickly and utilize data and user research to ensure you're on the right path towards your goal.
  • Results driven. You deeply understand the delivery, productivity, and satisfaction metrics of your team and you effectively prioritize their improvement through planning and execution.
  • Technical Expertise. You have a firm grasp on web technologies, technical and service architecture for real-time collaboration and are proficient with CI/CD, multi-data setups, automated testing, branching strategies and incident management.
  • Cross-functional collaboration. You are comfortable collaborating within a product trio together with Product Manager and Design and proactive in managing your closest stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills. Your effective communication skills for collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and customers, conveys technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Project Management Know How. You have a proven track record in project management, including planning, organizing, and monitoring project progress.
  • Lead by example. You know how to inspire, motivate, and manage teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Grow others. You know your way around mentorship of engineers. You can guide them through giving and receiving feedback, supporting their career development and managing performance based on outcomes and impact.
