Product Engineering is a unified team responsible for the engineering of Disney Entertainment & ESPN digital and streaming products and platforms. This includes product engineering, media engineering, quality assurance, engineering behind personalization, commerce, lifecycle, and identity.
Disney Entertainment & ESPN Product and Technology is looking for a Fullstack Engineer to join the Quality, Targeting, and Experience team inside the Media Engineering organization.
The Quality, Targeting, and Experience team is responsible for building intelligent tools for managing how media gets from our servers to the customer watching the media. This includes, CDN routing optimization, playback quality, piracy detection, and other areas critical to the success of our streaming platforms. This position, in particular, will focus on building solutions to bridge the gap between our existing tools, our external partners, and our internal stakeholders. This is a full stack position since there are user interfaces which support our internal users but is also very focused on building backend and middleware solutions to work with those interfaces.
Technologies we use include Python, JS, Go, PostgresQL, Kubernetes, Git, AWS (CloudFront, Lambda, Kinesis, Aurora, many others) and more. Experience in these areas is highly valued but not required.

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY and Seattle, WA is $120,300 to $161,300 per year, in Santa Monica, CA is $114,900 to $154,100 per year, and in San Francisco, CA is $125,800 to $168,700 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
