Teacher Assistant
South Whitley Elementary

Essential Responsibilities:

• Help the classroom teacher.
• Meet student needs based on assigned task
• School  classes are Monday-Friday

Job Requirements

• Guide and assist students with lessons and activities under the direction of the teacher
• Reinforce concepts that were taught in the classroom
• Attend field trips and other community activities with students as requested
• The school corporation may add, modify or delete any aspects of this job description

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Demonstrate a high level of integrity and accountability

Job Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
