This contract role will support the Sector Coverage team within Global Corporate and Investment Banking.

We are looking for a tech-savvy, motivated and organised individual to join the team to provide high-level business management partnership to the team. This role is intended to be 6 months duration to provide maternity leave cover (with potential to be extended by 3 months subject to return to work timing of incumbent employee). 

The successful candidate will have the ability to exercise good judgement in a diversity of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organisational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.

Job Responsibilities:

Coordinate and oversee the completion of business management workstreams and team management support:

• Support Sector Coverage team with the delivery of priority business initiatives

• Coordinate the completion of team reporting and updates to internal stakeholders and Country teams

• Oversee and support key business management tasks including assisting with communication of team member KPIs as well as supporting our governance procedures and timely updates to stakeholders

• Assist the team’s management of Vendor subscriptions and invoicing

• Co-ordinate team activities and events

• May handle confidential company and employee information

Undertakes a range of activities focused on Sector Coverage:

• Track and monitor activities and Sector team revenues and KPIs

• Coordinate and support the teams’ activities

• Manage the data of regional and sectorial initiatives with team members

Job Requirements:

• Administrative experience in banking or similar industry

• Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships across all levels and effectively adapts to varied situations

• Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously. Attention to detail

• High degree of common sense and a willingness to assume responsibility

• Eager to get involved and fully participate in the team, “can do“ attitude

• Able to work independently and adaptable to changing environments

• Experience in handling confidential or sensitive matters

• Experience in working with a diverse team

• Experience in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Microsoft Outlook

• Experience with streamlining / optimizing reporting and data workflows in excel
