Mountain View Hospital is looking for a Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant to join our team!
JOB SUMMARY:
Helps patients by providing clinical and business office assistance in the offices and clinics of health care providers, such as, physicians, podiatrists, chiropractors, and optometrists.

Education/Certification: High School diploma. Prefer graduation of a post-secondary medical assisting program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) and/or 6-12 month clinical experience. BLS certification within two weeks of hire.
Clinical skills: Clinical Skills may be specific to the clinical setting but may include EKGS, respiratory testing, lab tests classified as “waived” under CLIA, and administering medication only by unit, or single dosage, or by a dosage calculated and verified by a healthcare practitioner.
Equipment/Technology: Basic computer skills necessary
Language/Communication: English, Medical terminology, Grammar, Spelling & punctuation
Mathematical Skills: Basic
Mental Capabilities: Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow
Interpersonal: Effectively communicates with administration, managers, and staff. Exceptional customer service and telephone etiquette
Performance: Requires ability to work independently and with groups/teams as both project leader and team member. Requires attention to detail and ability to assimilate large amounts of information from various sources. Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and can work effectively with a diversity of personalities.
