About the Position
The Director, Community Engagement advances the strategic growth and reach of Girl Scouts of Western Washington (GSWW) by developing sustainable, equitable pathways to participation for communities historically excluded from Girl Scouting. This role leads staff-led and staff-supported recruitment strategies and deepens engagement with diverse communities across the council. Through cross-departmental collaboration and innovative participation, the Director ensures access to Girl Scouts is equitable, culturally relevant, and responsive to local community needs.
This is a regular, full-time (40 hours per week), exempt role that requires residency in Washington State, preferably within our Council region of Western Washington. Work can be conducted remotely, but successful candidates must be willing and able to come into a GSWW office as needed or when requested. This position will start at $84,125 annually for the purpose of internal pay equity.
