Job Summary: This National Guard position is for a POLICE OFFICER (TEMP) (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D2499P01 and is part of the 151st SFS located in Salt Lake City, with the Utah Air National Guard. This vacancy is OPEN to current members of the National Guard, and members of the public willing to join the Utah Air National Guard The selecting supervisor for this vacancy is SMSgt Tyson L. Mayfield. This vacancy announcement will remain open until all positions are filled.
Major Duties:
Qualifications: *Your resume must reflect in detail how the duties and responsibilities under each position you have held with each employer meets the below listed general and specialized experience required for the position. **Must include beginning and ending dates of employment stated as MM/YYYY; and total hours worked per week in order to determine part time vs. full time credit. Specialized Experience: Have practical knowledge of security force (SF) activities in direct support of the military weapon systems and physical security; law and order; or area security operations. Work experiences in law enforcement, maintaining law and order, preserving the peace, and protecting life and civil rights within the jurisdiction of civilian/public areas or military installations. Experiences in protecting federal property from hazards such as sabotage, espionage, trespass, theft, fire, and accident or willful damage and destruction. May have experiences in responding to disaster and relief operations and participates in contingencies.
