Job Description

The Role

Located in Newington, Sydney the Full-time role currently available in the security department, which trades as Spotless Security, you would be working to a roster across both day and night shifts. The successful candidates will receive an above award wage, job stability, uniforms and protective equipment and work in a leading Telecommunication environment. The job responsibilities are varied and challenging, as well as professionally rewarding. 

Responsibilities

Successful candidates will establish and contribute to a productive relationship with staff and client whilst representing Spotless Security and Downer as a professional, responsive and committed employee and collaborating in the continuous improvement of Security Services.

It will be essential to foster an environment of trust with Colleagues, Visitors by maintaining a professional confidentiality at all times, responding appropriately and within outlined procedures to any emergency, as directed, as well as performing other tasks within the scope of practice indicated by the nature of the role.

Skills and Experience

• A valid NSW Class 1E Security Licence
• A current driver's licence
• Certificate II in Security Operations
• The ability to work as part of a team and follow directions
• Intermediate to advance skills and knowledge of computer-based systems such MS Office
• Sound knowledge & understanding of alarm and management systems (e.g.; access/egress, CCTV and building automation management systems within a control room setting.)
• The ability to work a 24/7 roster including mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends and public holidays
• Prior Security experience within a security control room would be advantageous
