After School Program Support Positions

Pine Log ES

HOURS:  2:45 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.  

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Help with the distribution of snack.
• Supervise homework and recess.
• Plan, direct, and teach activities.
• Provide written lesson plans weekly to the Site Coordinator if required.
• Communicate with students, teachers, and parents.
• Direct aide and/or student helper.
• Work to maintain a positive, nurturing, stimulating, and warm environment.
• Work cooperatively with the After-School Program Coordinator, Principal, Site Coordinator, and teachers to create a homework/study hall that is an extension of the school's learning goals and objectives.

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work without supervision
• Organization and multi-tasking
