Job Summary
The Privacy Analyst Associate I is responsible for contributing to the ongoing monitoring work and long-term success of our customers’ patient privacy programs, using the Imprivata FairWarning privacy intelligence solution. Our team aims to change the lives of our customers by building trust in applications containing confidential information through industry-leading technology. We also provide expertise, best practices, and a passionate commitment to privacy in order to protect their confidential information. This role requires the ability to review alert data, leverage critical thinking and decision making to ensure attention is focused on remarkable findings in the data. This role will support internal team members in managing their workload across multiple customer accounts. This includes documentation of potential incidents or investigations and be reactive to customer needs relating to them.
- Complete the two-week Privacy Analyst Associate training program, including all LMS modules and knowledge tests
- Review and examine customer alerts to identify suspicious activity with a sustained high degree of accuracy and volume productivity
- Document initial drafts of investigations for potential incidents found during analysis of alerts
- Ensure FairWarning application of the customer is current and able to meet contractual MPS obligations.
- Contribute on multiple customer accounts in partnership with internal team members and customer stakeholders when necessary.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of project and process related 'best practice' methodologies, training and documentation.
- Assist with maintaining a repository of related documentation pertaining to the customer’s Imprivata enterprise.
- Assist responses to certain support requests and troubleshooting efforts as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Enrollment in or completion of Associates or Bachelors degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Criminal Justice or related discipline.
- Excellent verbal and written skills, as well as leadership, organizational and time management, presentation, and independent problem-solving skills
- Sound attention to detail, willingness to learn with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Experience implementing or supporting applications in a healthcare context for clinical users
- Ability to work in complex customer environments and provide delivery that is reactive to internal and external customer expectations.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience serving healthcare customers and familiarity with medical terminology and clinical workflow.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, GDPR regulations.
- Experience with data analytics / data mining and project management skills.
- Prior experience with Imprivata solutions or relevant healthcare information technology.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows, Office365, Salesforce.
This position offers a total compensation range of $51,000.00 - $56,000.00 (inclusive of base salary and variable compensation, such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata’s benefit offerings can be found here. This range represents the high and low end of Imprivata’s compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate’s location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
