The Rubrik Cloud Direct team helps customers manage and analyze petabytes of data and billions of files and objects. Rubrik Software Engineers are self-starters, driven, and can manage themselves. We believe in giving engineers responsibility, not tasks. Our goal is to motivate and challenge people to do their best work.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, test, and scale the service infrastructure that powers our product.
  • Analyze and improve the efficiency of our cloud resource usage.
  • Develop build and test system tooling to increase developer productivity.
  • Drive operational excellence by building and improving product telemetry.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of security principles and apply it to infrastructure design.
  • Create and maintain documentation of key infrastructure components.

We’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience 
  • Experience with some of the following:
    • CI/CD platforms and testing frameworks
    • Infrastructure as code
    • Build systems
    • Telemetry platforms
    • At least one cloud computing platform (AWS, GCP, Azure, …)
    • Containers and container orchestration (e.g. docker, lxc, kubernetes…)
  • Strong fundamentals in distributed systems concepts
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP networking
  • Familiarity with Linux
  • Proficiency with Go, Terraform, and Bash are a plus
  • Excited by a customer-centric development environment

The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US Pay Range
$148,000—$222,000 USD
