The Kitting & Rework Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day management of both the kitting and clean room areas. This includes leading the team, coordinating production schedules, ensuring accurate and timely dispatches, and driving productivity and quality across all kitting and rework operations.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a growing area of the business, helping Zendbox deliver smarter, more flexible fulfilment for leading brands.
Requirements
Team Management:
- Manage, train, and motivate a team of operatives, ensuring that work is performed efficiently.
- Monitor team performance to enhance operational effectiveness, delivering training where necessary.
- Monitor absences, conduct return to work interviews.
- Request labour in line with forecast, update internal systems.
Kitting Process Management:
- Oversee the assembly of product kits and bundles as per customer orders, ensuring accuracy in product selection, packaging, and labelling.
- Oversee and take responsibility for quality checks on finished kits to ensure accuracy, proper packaging, and compliance with customer requirements.
- Maintain and enforce rigorous quality control measures throughout the picking and packing stages.
- Work with the CX, CS and Supply Chain team to accurately forecast and schedule works, ensuring deadlines are met within SLA or due date.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed, and work conditions are conducive to a productive and safe environment.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of activities, report on productivity metrics.
- Provide department insights to stakeholders identifying risks and opportunities.
- Update and maintain BOM database.
Experience and Attributes:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role
- Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment is preferred
- Strong leadership skills with a proactive, can-do attitude
