Key responsibilities
- Fabricatoring and welcing parts from engineering drawings and ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Interpreting Isometric and engineering draw to fabricate parts.
- Understand both imperial and metric dimensions.
- Prepare parts for welding, including sawing, drilling, grinding, pipe bending, and threading.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment while adhering to health and safety standards and regulations
- Perform or prepare for Class 1 / ISO 3834 welding activities, including understanding and interpreting Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS). Weld joints (fillet, lap, corner, and butt, open and double-sided) in compliance with ASME IX and ISO 15614 standards.
Skills and experience required:
- Proven experience in fabricating within sectors such as Oil & Gas, Pipefitting, Pressure Vessel, or similar environments is advantegous.
- Strong capability to accurately read and interpret engineering drawings.
- GCSEs in Maths, English, and Science (Grades A-C) preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and management.
- Reliable team player with a solid track record of punctuality and excellent attendance.
- Highly organized, efficient, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Assertive with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Meticulous and conscientious, focused on maintaining high-quality standards.
- Valid UK Driving License, and Forklift license is advantageous.

- This position is based on site at our Oakham Manufacturing facility (PE9 4AQ)
- Working hours 7:30am - 4pm (Monday to Thursday), 7:30am - 1pm (Friday).
