CMC:Berkshires is our private 13-bed residential treatment center located on 200 acres in the Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts. CMCB is currently hiring for a Certified Medical Assistant.  Incredible opportunity for direct client care, community building, and personal growth in evidence-based treatment setting. Ideal job for friendly, mature, responsible, outgoing individual who enjoy talking to and helping others. Great team environment. Ideal candidate will have proficient technical/computer skills, great interpersonal manner, very detail oriented, good judgement and 1-2 years of work in a medical office setting. 

• Shifts: 10a-6p, Mon-Fri
• Pay Range: $23-$28/hour

Primary tasks may include, but not limited to:

• Intake Prep: Rcopia, mass Pat, building charts
• Discharge visit prep: print stickers, pill tray keys & packing. 
• Breaking down charts after discharge
• Uploading docs to Salesforce: STI, TB, labs, prior to admission docs
• Package pick ups
• Inventory & stocking: OTC, exam room, supply closet, medical office
• Bill to client charges
• Admitting medical reviews
• Medication destruction
• Labs i.e.: tracking & uploading: utox, blood, covid, paps, etc.
• Build daily records for medical appointments
• Later in the day med changes I.e.: Psychiatrist orders 
• Updating appointments
• Medication reconciliation 1x per week
• RX Management: Pharmacy pick ups, Rcopia medication check in

 Clinical tasks

• Blood draws
• EKG 
• Vitals
• Nasal swabs  - Covid testing
• Client check ins

Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, sit for periods of 8 hours
• Ability to and comfortable with working independently
• Certified or working towards certification for CMA
