Overview:

The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills, as well as be proactive, customer-oriented, and driven to succeed in a fast-paced environment. They will be self-motivated and enjoy independent fieldwork that delivers extraordinary results. The candidate will work effectively at various customer levels, including dealers, contractors, consultants, and government bodies, to educate, justify, and successfully sell Rain Bird irrigation products. This person will be responsible for driving sales and marketing efforts to develop and gain market share in a highly competitive market.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop business relationships with contractors, municipalities, public entities and private companies promoting the use and purchase of Rain Bird products and services with a focus on brand conversion and customer loyalty.
  • Demonstrate Rain Bird's products and services to customers, highlighting their applications, key benefits, and ease of troubleshooting.
  • Make field visits to sites to drive product and service orders
  • Coordinate sales efforts with the Distribution Manager and distributors to secure Rain Bird sales opportunities.
  • Participation in demo days, roadshows, customer training sessions, tradeshows, and regional sales meetings.
  • Providing basic technical phone support to all customers/users.
  • Strive to differentiate Rain Bird from its competitors by providing superior customer service and high visibility.
  • Maintain and utilize the customer database for direct marketing and communication efforts
Qualifications:

Qualifications and minImum requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Engineer.
  • 5+ years’ work experience (Desirable qualification: Experience in the water/irrigation industry and/or professional equipment distribution)
  • Microsoft tools, presentations and database applications (CRM) experience and knowledge.
  • Self-motivated, team player, aggressive, and strong communication skills.
  • Native Spanish and fluent English.
  • Availability to travel
  • Based in Madrid area.
