About the Opportunity

Are you a skilled Business Analyst with a passion for cyber security? This is your chance to play a pivotal role in safeguarding the systems and information that power some of Australia’s most iconic retailers.

At Metcash, we’re investing in our cyber security strategy and looking for a Senior Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You’ll work across a broad program of remediation initiatives—gathering requirements, mapping current and future states, and ensuring delivery of secure, practical outcomes that protect our business.

It's a 12 months fixed-term role. 

In this Role

• Partner with stakeholders to define and document security requirements
• Lead workshops to analyse current vs. future-state processes
• Translate business needs into actionable requirements, use cases, and test plans
• Track deliverables in Azure DevOps to ensure alignment and visibility
• Collaborate with security leaders, project managers, and change managers to deliver outcomes
• Support adoption with user guides, training, and process documentation

You’re Likely a Match If

• 5+ years’ experience in cyber security, risk management, or business analysis
• Proven track record delivering on large, complex security projects
• Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills
• Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, ASD8, SOCI)
• Hands-on experience with risk assessment and mitigation strategies
• Bonus: familiarity with IDAM, privileged access management, or OT security
