Job Details:

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for assisting the warehouse lead and supervisor with the day-to-day operations of the shipping and receiving office. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Answering phone calls
  • Completing necessary paperwork on loads
  • Creating bill of lading (BOL)/manifests for loads
  • Performing various clerical tasks
  • Other duties as assigned by members of management

Work will be performed by utilizing WMS software on a computer as well as using standard office equipment such as telephones, printers, scanners, and radios.

This position requires attention to detail in all aspects of the job and the ability to perform all job duties in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team setting. The warehouse is a cold storage facility with temperatures as low as -5 degrees, however this position will primarily be performed in a temperature controlled office environment.

SCHEDULE: B-Shift (Nightshift): Monday – Thursday (6PM-4AM).

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills required (Microsoft Office Suite, spreadsheets, email).

EXPERIENCE: 3+ years office experience

TRAVEL: None

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
