The Opportunity:

To provide financial management and analysis support to PMA-261 Heavy Lift Helicopter Program Office. This position is located in Lexington Park, MD and requires a Secret Clearance.


Responsibilities:
1. Budget Management:

  • Develop and maintain a detailed spend plan for the project.
  • Track project funding and ensure expenditures align with the approved budget.
  • Provide regular financial status reports to PMA-261.

2. Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and submit monthly status reports (MSR) detailing financial performance and any variances from the planned budget
  • Generate quarterly project management reviews (PMR) to assess financial health and project progress

3. Cost Analysis:

  • Conduct cost analyses to identify areas of potential savings or inefficiencies.
  • Provide recommendations for cost-effective strategies to optimize project spending.

4. Funding Coordination:

  • Liaise with PMA-261to ensure adequate funding is available for project tasks.
  • Report any issues related to deliverable quality, timeliness of performance, or adequacy of funding

5. Support for Reviews and Meetings:

  • Assist in the preparation of materials for program and technical reviews.
  • Document meeting minutes and ensure they are distributed to relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure all financial documentation complies with PMA-261 policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the project.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have an Active Secret Clearance.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$75,200 - 158,100 USD
