Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards, hospital policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure patient safety through continuous assessment, observation, and crisis intervention.
• Supervise the Medication Administration process and monitor therapeutic responses.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver individualized treatment plans.
• Document care and communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana.
• Prior acute psychiatric / behavioral health experience preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
