Compensation: Starts at $25.01/hour

Location: Lawrence, KS

Shift: First Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Helper / Floater to join our team. As a Helper / Floater, you are responsible for physical work, including feeding machines, stacking units, and learning to operate machines that die cut, print, and glue corrugated paper. This position is responsible for providing help to Machine Operators on various machines. As such, this position is responsible for being cross trained on multiple machines.

Qualifications

• Must be able and willing to be cross trained on multiple machines.
• Must be flexible and willing to work on any assigned machine in the Department throughout the workday and workweek.
• Safety and quality focused.
• Must be dependable.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively with little supervision required.
• Must possess the ability to troubleshoot.
• Experienced in manufacturing, specifically in operating machinery, required.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Must be able to use simple math and use basic handheld measuring tools.
