Education and Experience:
- 4 year college degree or equivalent education and experience4 years commercial business development and branch experience
- Business Banking book of business management experience of 4 years
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong sales, business development and people skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Problem solving and decision making skills
- Thorough understanding of the banks’ consumer, financial services, deposit and trust products
- Knowledge of Bank Lending policies and all Federal/State regulations affecting commercial lending
- Knowledge of legal documents, lien priorities and collateral mechanics related to commercial lending
- Ability to analyze tax returns, cash flow statement and other financial information.

Available fora variety of business development functions (business after hours, chamber events etc. ) generally held outside of traditional work hoursNMLS Certification Required
Tasks Performed:
- 55% Responsibility for retaining and expanding existing company relationships within all lines of business Retail, Trust, Commercial, Small Business, Insurance, Financial Services.Solicits new business from prospective as well as existing customers. Discuss customer needs, problems, or complaints, and arrange for meetings between customers or prospects and representatives of various company functional areas.
- 15% Provides oversight to branch operations and is accountable for the profitability, growth, and successful operation of the branch.
- 10% Attends and represents company at various community and civic organizations throughout the bank’s trade area.
- 10% Follow up and service accounts. Manage portfolio so that renewals are processed in a timely manner and collect past due loans. Meet or exceed targets for credit quality past due, non-accrual, and charge off ratios.
- 5% Participate in regional meetings as appropriate. Mentor financial center team as it pertains to Business Banking products and services. Documents contacts and results, and makes reports to management as required.
- 5% Other Duties as Assigned
