Job Opening: Yard Switcher – New Bern North Carolina

Shift: 12-hour shifts (6am–6pm or 6pm–6am)
Schedule: Rotating 2/2/3 schedule (average 42 hours/week)
Pay:

• Day Shift: $23/hour

• Night Shift: $24/hour

• Weekly Pay Range: $960–$1,260
  Bonuses: $200 quarterly safety bonus
  Pay Type: Hourly
  Home Time: Home daily
  Holiday & Vacation Pay: Based on your average pay over the last 52 weeks
  Extra Work: Optional work available on days off

Job Details:

• Position: Yard Switcher (slip seat using a switcher truck)

• Equipment: 99% containers (heavy doors)

• Physical Requirements:

  • Repeatedly get in and out of the truck

  • Set jack stands and place wheel chocks

  • Work in all weather conditions on paved and rough surfaces

• Environment: Industrial yard

• PPE Required: Yes (provided)

• Driver Unload: No

• Miles/Hours per Week: ~42 to 60 hours
