INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT TECHNICIAN

Role purpose:

ITP Aero UK are recruiting for a results-driven Industrial Development Technician to be incorporated to our UK Industrial Development team to carry out the industrial plan definition & execution and to deploy the Lean Manufacturing improvement initiatives across our operations.

This role is full-time (37 hours per week).

Who we are looking for:

Essential Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing within the aerospace or high-precision manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of Lean tools: 5S, VSM, PDCA, A3, TPM, Poka-Yoke, etc.
• Excellent communication, and project management skills.
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) is a plus.
• Familiarity with AS9100, NADCAP, and other aerospace quality standards.

Key Responsbilities:

1. Design and execution of industrial plans according to the group's process standards
2. Implement and maintain the Lean Manufacturing model. Execute the Lean improvement plan
3. Hucknall Industrial Plan Budget Management. Investments and expenses
4. Medium-Long term Load Capacity analysis
5. Support and coordination with Process Engineering
6. Participation in the New Product Offer process: Load capacity and productive investments necessary for the quote of the offer
7. Participation in the NPI development process: Product lines, FMEA, etc.

You will work at ITP Aero from its site in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire under the guidance of professionals with extensive experience in the sector in a leading company in aeronautical engines and components that ranks among the top companies in the global aeronautical industry.

What are the working hours?

Days – 37 hours per week working Monday to Friday core hours 08:00-16:12
