Operating through our global business lines of Energy Solutions, Infrastructure & Industrial Solutions, and Lifting Solutions, we provide a broad range of specialist services including cranes, lifting, fluid power, training, equipment rental, pipeline, process, subsea, and valve services.
At EnerMech, we are driven by operational excellence, innovation, and technical expertise, delivering value through integrated solutions that reduce risk, improve efficiency, and enhance performance for our customers worldwide.
The Role
We are looking for an HR Advisor – Americas to join our HR team, providing hands-on HR support to employees and leaders across the Americas, with a primary focus on our U.S. operations.
This is a broad generalist role offering exposure across the employee lifecycle. Working closely with the wider HR team and operational leaders, you will support everything from employee relations and recruitment through to onboarding, performance management, HR systems and workforce compliance.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys being close to the business, working in a fast-paced operational environment and taking ownership of day-to-day HR activities.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Provide practical day-to-day HR advice, guidance and support to employees and managers.
Support employee relations, performance management and a broad range of general HR matters.
Coordinate recruitment, new-hire orientation, onboarding, employee changes and offboarding activities.
Partner closely with operational teams to support workforce requirements and employee compliance.
Assist with benefits, payroll-related matters, HR systems and the maintenance of accurate employee records.
Support offshore and field workforce requirements, including training, medical certifications and drug-testing programmes.
Work collaboratively with HR colleagues across the Americas to support regional initiatives and promote consistent HR practices.
Build strong working relationships with employees and leaders, providing responsive and professional HR support.
Support continuous improvement of HR processes, systems and ways of working.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
You will be a practical and approachable HR professional who enjoys working with both people and operations. You should be comfortable managing multiple priorities, taking ownership of day-to-day HR matters and building credible relationships across different levels of the organisation.
Ideally, you will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of HR experience, ideally within a generalist or HR advisory role.
- Good working knowledge of employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management and HR operations.
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word, together with the ability and willingness to use AI tools effectively.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Confidence working with employees, managers and senior stakeholders.
- A high level of professionalism, sound judgement and discretion when handling confidential information.
Experience within oil & gas, energy services, industrial, engineering, offshore or another operational environment would be advantageous.
Previous exposure to ADP, payroll support, offshore or field workforce compliance, or drug-testing programmes such as DISA would also be beneficial, but is not essential.
