Job Description

Location: Henstridge, Somerset
Hours: Monday–Friday, 07:30–16:30 (1 hour of breaks)
Reports to: Team Leader & Production Manager

The Role

 

As a Production Operative, you will work as part of a small, friendly team to produce and prepare our product range for customers. The role is varied, with opportunities to learn different processes and rotate between tasks.

 

 

The Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Weighing and portioning raw materials and blending mixes according to clear recipe instructions
  • Operating precise production equipment
  • Packing products and preparing pallets for shipment
  • Loading/unloading deliveries, warehouse storage, and dispatch
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace
  • Completing production records and reporting any issues
  • Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment

The Requirements:

 

  • Must be fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Friendly, approachable, and a strong team player
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
  • Flexible and adaptable — willing to learn new tasks and processes
  • Reliable, with good attention to detail and a focus on quality
