PART-TIME SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER

? .6 FTE Special Education Teacher

? Assignment: Special Education Teacher at Hastings High School

? Anticipated Start Date:  Immediately

? NYSED Required certification: Certified to teach Students with Disabilities 7-12 or All Grades.  

? Education:  Bachelor’s Degree.  Master’s Preferred

? Responsibilities: 

• Support students with IEPs in a Resource Room program and a Departmentalized   Special Class (12-1-1) skills by providing targeted, differentiated instruction, skill-based interventions, and executive functioning strategies. 

• Ensure IEP compliance, progress monitor goals, and communicate regularly with families and service providers to support academic success.

? NYSED Fingerprint Clearance required 

? Salary Range: $63,366 - $76,851 (Prorated)
