Job Summary |
Responsible for the application of Chesterton mechanical seals to include specification of chemically resistant materials and determination of dimensional and operational suitability. Provides technical support via telephone and/or telefax. Prepares technical documentation to sales force, customers and OEM's as required. Generates and/or recommends engineering changes and designs based on customer requirements. Provides certified products documentation to the quality assurance area, customers and specialists. Some travel may be required. |

Responsibility |
· Provides technical support via telephone and/or telefax to internal and external customers regarding the application of Chesterton mechanical seals. Travels in the field as needed to meet and service individual customer's needs. | · Analyzes failed seals to provide written description of damage and makes recommendations for corrective action. | · Specifies environmental controls as required. | · Provides technical documentation to field sales force, customers and OEM's as required. | · Maintains telefax, telephone and seal failure analysis logs. | · Enters technical information into databases and prepares various reports as requested by inside sales and engineering. | · Interacts with certified products account executives. |

If the salary range to be offered for a “leveled” based position (I, II, III, etc.) is different than what was advertised on any posting, that range will be discussed with the candidate before they are formally invited to interview.
