Overview:

Position Summary: Manually places product on plating racks for the purpose of nickel/chrome or nickel only plating.  Loads and unloads barrels for stripping of plating or for phosphate plating. Move racks from storage area and hand on plater. Make chemical additions as needed per supervisor. Keep equipment and work areas clean at all times Help the Plating Operator as needed when the machine stops or racks fall off.

Responsibilities:

KEY TASKS

 

Manually places product on plating racks for the purpose of nickel/chrome or nickel only plating.

 

 Loads and unloads barrels for stripping of plating or for phosphate plating.

 

Move racks from storage area and hand on plater.

 

Make chemical additions as needed per supervisor.

 

Keep equipment and work areas clean at all times

 

Help the Plating Operator as needed when the machine stops or racks fall off..

 

Observe all rules of safety when working around chemicals.

 

Perform other duties as required.
