We are looking for a Senior Data & Analytics Architect to lead the design, standardization, and scalability of enterprise data architecture across our analytics and AI landscape. This individual will play a key role in establishing a modern, governed, and secure data environment that enables trusted insights, predictive capabilities, and data-driven decisions at scale.

1. Enterprise Data Architecture & Design

• Design and maintain a scalable, modular data architecture that supports analytics, reporting, AI/ML, and operational needs.
• Define standards for data modeling, pipeline development, and integration across cloud and on-prem platforms.
• Architect data domains, data products, and data layers to enable reuse, performance, and agility.

2. Data Platform & Integration Strategy

• Lead architectural decisions around data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Data Lake, ETL/ELT, streaming architecture).
• Integrate structured and unstructured data sources from systems like Salesforce, Oracle ERP, and marketing automation into a unified ecosystem.
• Ensure seamless data flow across business applications, analytics tools, and AI models.

3. Governance, Security & Access

• Collaborate with Data Governance and Security teams to define and enforce access control, data classification, and compliance policies.
• Implement role-based access, encryption standards, and auditable data access frameworks.
• Ensure alignment with privacy regulations and corporate risk policies.

4. Collaboration & Stakeholder Alignment

• Partner with Data Engineering, Analytics, and Business teams to translate strategic needs into scalable data solutions.
• Guide and mentor data engineers and analysts on best practices, architecture patterns, and data quality standards.
• Collaborate with program managers to ensure architecture fits within enterprise operating models.

5. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Stay current with trends in data mesh, data fabric, real-time data, and AI integration.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies or methodologies to future-proof the data ecosystem.
• Drive technology upgrades and migrations in coordination with IT and platform teams.

Required:

• 10+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role.
• Deep expertise in modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Strong knowledge of data modeling (OLTP & OLAP), data warehousing, metadata management, and ETL/ELT design patterns.
• Experience integrating data from multiple enterprise systems including ERP, CRM, and SaaS platforms.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills and ability to translate business requirements into architectural solutions.

Preferred:

• Experience supporting AI/ML workflows or working closely with data science teams.
• Familiarity with tools such as Matillion, dbt, Informatica, or similar.
• Exposure to data governance tools (e.g., Alation, Collibra) and concepts like data product ownership.

California Pay range: $138,960 - $254,120.00

Colorado pay range: $128,670.00 - $214,440.00

District of Columbia pay range:  $128,670.00 - $214,440.00 

Hawaii pay range: $128,670.00 - $214,440.00 

Illinois pay range: $128,670.00 - $214,440.00 

Maryland pay range: $138,960.00 - 231,600.00 

Massachusetts pay range: $138,960.00 - 231,600.00

Minnesota pay range: $128,670.00 - $214,440.00 

New Jersey City pay range: $138,960.00 - 231,600.00 

New York pay range: $152,470.00 - $254,120.00

Vermont pay range: $128,670.00 - $214,440.00 

Washington state pay range: $138,960.00 - 231,600.00
