Salary: $135,000 - $155,000/year

Work location: Hybrid, primarily remote with ad hoc on-site work, frequency TBD.

This position serves as a Gunnison employee in support of a federal cybersecurity operations support contract. Join our exceptional group of cybersecurity pros!

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) program to enhance agency security posture through real-time monitoring and risk assessment. 
• Oversee the implementation and operation of CDM capabilities, driving continuous improvement to address emerging threats. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align CDM efforts with organizational objectives. 
• Develop and enforce policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with federal regulations and security best practices. 

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years supporting an agency-level CDM program or leading CDM implementations for 5 years. 
• Demonstrable expertise in coordinating large-scale CDM initiatives and managing complex security operations. 
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). 
• Project Management Professional (PMP). 

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with federal agency security requirements and compliance standards. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred. 
• Additional certifications related to cybersecurity management or systems security. 
• Advanced degree or specialized coursework in cybersecurity or information systems. 

Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

The salary range for this position depends upon multiple factors including location, the individual's knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, and contract-specific budget constraints and organizational requirements.
