Strategic Projects and Infrastructure Coordinator

Full-time, Exempt Position

Position based out of Bear Lake, Michigan

JOB PURPOSE:  

Coordinate and support the planning and execution of organization-wide projects, including technology, infrastructure, and operational initiatives. Manage communication systems and vendor relationships to ensure reliable service delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in project coordination, systems support, or business operations preferred.
- Familiarity with project lifecycles and coordination tools.
- General understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and communication technologies.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and with external vendors.
- Eagerness to learn and grow into broader project leadership responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

- Assist in defining and coordinating cross-departmental project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Support the execution of projects across various business functions, including IT, operations, and administration.
- Maintain project documentation and assist in developing new or updated procedures.
- Monitor project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Manage the organization’s phone and internet systems, including troubleshooting, upgrades, and vendor coordination.
- Serve as the primary liaison with telecom and internet service providers.
- Track service contracts, outages, and performance metrics for communication systems.
- Support the implementation of process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Provide support outside of standard business hours as needed.
- Follow company policies and complete required training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: 

  1. Work is performed in a climate-controlled office environment.
  2. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  3. Extensive typing
  4. Regular telephone and face-to-face communication
