Employee Benefits Practice Leader – Middle Market
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Employee Benefits Practice Leader to join our team and drive our middle market employee benefits strategy. This leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the growth and success of our benefits consulting services, working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver innovative solutions and exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of employee benefits strategies tailored to middle market clients
- Manage and grow a team of benefits consultants, providing mentorship and professional development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering customized benefit solutions
- Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement, and voluntary benefits
- Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure compliance and competitiveness
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify new business opportunities and expand existing client relationships
- Provide thought leadership through presentations, seminars, and industry forums to enhance the firm’s reputation in the employee benefits space
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CEBS, GBA) preferred
- 10+ years of experience in employee benefits consulting, with a focus on middle market clients
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and developing client relationships
- Deep knowledge of employee benefits programs, compliance requirements, and industry trends
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to influence and negotiate with clients and internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated success in business development and strategic planning
