Description

National Star Services is a well-established facility management company with 27 years of experience, providing a wide range of services nationwide. We are currently seeking a Temp-to-Hire Forklift Operator to join our team at our Alsip, IL 60803 location.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload palletized materials in limited or confined spaces
• Handle shipping and receiving operations efficiently
• Process orders using the company’s computer system (training provided)
• Create and apply labels accurately
• Operate forklift equipment safely while following all company procedures
• Work collaboratively with team members to support daily operations

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM

Compensation:

• Starting pay rate: $17.50 per hour
• Biweekly pay
• This is a temp-to-hire position. After 90 days, the pay rate may increase based on performance, reliability, and overall job performance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Two valid forms of ID
• Must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S.
• Minimum 2 years of forklift operator experience
• Previous Shipping and receiving experience
• Computer savvy with the ability to learn new systems
• Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality
• Background check and drug test will be conducted
• Availability to start working as soon as possible
