What will you do?
As our first ever full sales cycle Account Executive focused on France, you'll be pioneering our expansion into the French market by running the complete sales cycle from prospecting and discovery to closing deals with French small business owners. This is a groundbreaking role as we establish our presence with French customers for the first time. You'll conduct product demonstrations and consultative selling entirely in French to prospective customers. Your quota is based on net Annual Recurring Revenue (nARR). You will:
- Generate new business acquisition through the complete sales cycle with French prospects
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations via screen share in French
- Prospect French businesses via cold calls and strategic email outreach in French and English
- Educate and consult French prospects on how Momence can help grow their business
- Identify influencers and decision makers within target French organizations
- Navigate French business culture and decision-making processes
- Manage sales activities, opportunities, and account information in our CRM (Hubspot)
- Provide market feedback to help shape our French market strategy
This is a full-time, remote role for which we're considering qualified candidates who are authorized to work remotely in European hours and can conduct business fluently in French and English.
About you
You love closing deals, empowering small businesses, and are driven by crushing quota and goals. You're excited about being our first sales representative in France and building something from the ground up. You enjoy speaking with people in French and have a strong understanding of the French small business market landscape. You thrive in ambiguity, are proactive, and can adapt well in a startup environment. If you're motivated by commission, have a consultative selling approach, and possess experience closing software sales deals, this could be a perfect role for you.
What you should have
While we welcome experience from a wide range of career and industry backgrounds, all candidates should meet the following qualifications for consideration:
- Native or near-native fluency in French and professional proficiency in English
- 2+ years of closing experience in software sales
- 1+ years of experience selling into small businesses, preferably in France or French-speaking markets
- 1+ years of experience with inside sales, particularly running live demos via screen share
- 2+ years of outbound sales experience
- Consultative selling approach
- Strong understanding of French business culture and market dynamics
- Comfort working across time zones with a US-based team
We'll be particularly excited if you also have
- Experience working in early stage startups
- Personal or professional experience in the customer verticals we serve (fitness, yoga, wellness, classes, etc.)
- Experience working, communicating, and connecting with small business owners in France
- Knowledge of French business regulations and compliance requirements
- Demonstrated success exceeding sales quotas
- Experience being the first sales hire for a new market
