We are recruiting for a Full Stack Java Engineer for a 6-12 month fixed term contract.

On-site presence required in Birmingham 3 days per week.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Solid development experience working in a commercial environment, a great understanding of Java and React, and wider experience in different tools and frameworks and across the stack.
  • Knowledge of Data technologies such as Python and Databricks
  • An enthusiasm for broadening your skillset and learning new technologies 
  • Commercial experience working with agile methodologies.
  • Experience dealing with challenges from stakeholders on technical issues and influencing technical decisions in the team.
  • Understanding and ownership of best practice as a Senior Engineer (eg. TDD, SOLID, XP)
  • Experience of guiding and supporting junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD practices and deployments.
  • Experience of writing effective documentation and knowledge sharing.
