Our Central-West Orana REZ transmission project is currently seeking a dedicated Traffic Supervisor to share their expertise in our growing project team.
The selected candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of project transport systems while adhering to Australian Standards and Main Roads Codes of Practice. This role requires expertise in assessing and designing complex traffic management plans, conducting pre-planning and risk assessments, and overseeing the progressive stages of long-term projects.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing, reviewing and implementing effective traffic management plans that meet client, community and project requirements;
Carrying out regular inspections of the traffic control measures to ensure that they are effective;
Amending and updating the plans, as required, to ensure that they remain current as the work progresses;
Identifying areas where the plan can be updated and improved due to poor traffic flow or safety concerns;
Liaising and facilitating regular meetings with stakeholders on traffic management matters for the project;
Liaising with the Project Manager and Community Liaison Manager to ensure appropriate consultation occurs with impacted stakeholders in relation to traffic plans;
Support community and stakeholder liaison where temporary traffic impacts or road closure may occur
Oversee the safe and efficient movement of OSOM vehicles, deliveries, and site traffic.
Conducting inductions on traffic management measures for site personnel.
Recording and reporting all traffic incidents
Preparing monthly reports
Required Skills and Competencies
3+ years of Proven experience in Traffic Management
Experience on TfNSW Sites / Projects
Current Drivers license and reliable transport
Safety focused and driven
Expert communication skills
Ability to work well in a team
Ability to develop strong functional relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
TfNSW Traffic Management Ticket
General Safety Induction Card
