Department: Product & EngineeringLocation: Remote (or Munich)Compensation: €2,400 - €2,700 / monthDescription🚀 Your roleWe are looking for a full-time Software Engineering Intern to join one of our product teams and help us build the electronics supply chain platform (check out this blog post for some more context on what we are building).You will be treated as a regular member of our product team and get to enjoy the full responsibility (and challenge) of shipping features end-to-end (from the first brainstorming to shipping it to production). Our past interns have gone on to work for large tech companies, start their own startups, or (our favorite 😇) join us full-time.Our tech stack is Typescript & React on the frontend, Rust (and some Python and Scala) for the backend, Postgres as our main database. Our software runs on Kubernetes and Azure.You should be proficient in at least one of these technologies, preferably on Rust. The focus of this role will be backend or full-stack (with a higher component of backend).Please note: We only offer working student positions after you have done an internship with us for a minimum of 3 months.🎯 Performance objectives

  • Join one of our four product teams as help us regularly and reliably deliver value to our users in the electronics industry.
  • Gain technical expertise in the different areas of our software stack (React, Typescript, Rust, Postgres, Kubernetes)
  • Be a proactive member in our retrospectives, dailies and other agile meetings and help us move forward in our development processes efficiently
  • Live up to Luminovo's operating principles
  • Show that you're continuously striving to learn and push yourself (and our team) by surfacing great ideas and finding ways to improve the tools and processes we use
  • We don't need you to be an expert in the electronics industry today, but you have to be willing to dive into it to understand our potential customers' unique situations and how LumiQuote can create value for them

To maintain a transparent and fair approach to compensation, the salary ranges for all positions are determined based on market benchmarks and a comprehensive leveling framework.For this role, the monthly salary ranges from €2,400 to €2,700 depending on the leveling we'll establish with you throughout the hiring process.
