Working Student (m/w/d)

Your responsibilities:

The key function of the Procurement Department is to maintain close communication with the parent company in Japan and suppliers in Europe. The scope of purchases of the department are various equipment's for plants, infrastructure, etc.

The intern handles the requisition to receipt process, which includes

• Clarifying purchase requests by requistioners;

• Obtaining and clarifying quotations from suppliers;

• Issuing purchase orders through SAP system.

• Delivery Management and Logistics Management.

Your profile & offering:

Subject to the candidate’s qualification and interest as well as business requirements, an introduction to other focus areas is also possible, i.e. sustainability in the supply chain, category management, supply chain risk resilience, etc.

• Sufficient business English skills

• Sufficient knowledge and proficiency in the Japanese language to fulfill the aforementioned tasks

• Precise and conscientious work ethic

• High motivation and ability to work in a team

• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.)

Additional Information:

• Working Hours: 20 hours per week during the semester, 40 hours per week during semester breaks.

• 1-2 days onsite at the office in Düsseldorf, the remaining time remote

• Duration of Internship: 1 year or longer, shorter durations also possible

• The core business time of the office is 09:00 to 15:30.
