Are you about to complete your master’s degree or have recently graduated? Are you ready to embark on a journey that combines passion for wealth management, ambition, and excellence?

Our Focus-Track Graduate Programme is an 18-month journey designed to unleash your full potential, offering three rotations, including an international assignment. This unique opportunity will immerse you in Julius Baer’s global network, provide hands-on experience, and lay the foundation for a thriving career in wealth management.

Your team
Join the CFO unit and become part of the Divisional CFO (DCFO) Products & Balance Sheet team. During your journey, you will gain experience and insight into the integrated overall bank management with focus on on- and off-balance sheet related activities to empower sustainable growth by partnering with CFO departments and key teams from CEO, COO, Markets and Investment Wealth Management Solutions. Therewith you will be actively involved in daily business and projects, gaining first-hand experience and acquiring relevant knowledge and personal skills.

YOUR CHALLENGE

What to work on?

• Analyse business challenges, market trends, and operational results to provide data-backed recommendations

• Develop and present strategic solutions through reports, presentations, and workshops

• Conduct research, financial modeling, and performance analysis to support decision-making

• Facilitate stakeholder discussions and drive consensus on key initiatives

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, coordinate and track various initiatives

What to learn?

• Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Ability to break down complex problems and develop actionable solutions

• Data Analysis & Financial Modeling: Proficiency in analytical tools to interpret data and create business cases

• Communication & Presentation: Verbal and written communication skills, including experience with PowerPoint for executive presentations

• Stakeholder Management: Ability to build relationships, manage expectations, and influence decision-makers

• Project Management: Experience in managing multiple workstreams, prioritizing tasks, and meeting tight deadlines

• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of business strategy, market trends, and industry-specific challenges

• Adaptability & Learning Agility: Willingness to learn new industries, frameworks, and methodologies quickly

YOUR PROFILE

• Master's degree from a university or university of applied sciences with above-average grades in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (graduation max. 12 months ago)

• Initial practical experience in performance management, balance sheet management, or a related field within the banking or financial services industry

• Passion for wealth management and a desire to create value beyond wealth

• A global mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong appetite for learning

• Fluency in English and German, with additional languages being a plus

• Eligibility to work in the country where you apply for the position​
