The After School Program- Assistant Coordinator will assist the Site Coordinator in designing and/or leading the Expanded Learning Program, Supervise expanded learning program staff and support with academic, physical, and enrichment activities as part of our Expanded Learning Programs in San Francisco. They will be part of an innovative and creative team that impacts the community, make the world a better place, and be part of change.
*$500 signing bonus after 90 days of successful continuous employment*
Reports to: Program Coordinator
Expanded learning programs are structured educational opportunities that occur outside the traditional school day, combining academic support, enrichment activities, and skill-building to enhance students’ overall learning and development. The Expanded Learning Assistant Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the design, implementation, and management of high-quality, developmentally appropriate afterschool and summer learning programs for school-age youth. This position aligns with the National Afterschool Association (NAA) Core Knowledge & Competencies and plays a critical role in supporting student success, positive youth development, and collaborative partnerships with schools, families, and communities.
