Inventory Operations Specialist (Afternoon/Evening Shift) – NYC

⚠️ Schedule & Role Expectations (Please Read Before Applying)

• Schedule: 5 days per week, 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• This is a fully on-site, hands-on role
• Includes physical work (lifiting up to 50 lbs), van management, and after-hours operational support
• Requires independent decision-making and ownership

This role is not ideal for candidates seeking:

• Remote or hybrid work
• A traditional 9–5 schedule
• A primarily desk-based position

About the Role

We’re hiring an Inventory Operations Associate to take ownership of afternoon and evening operational readiness across our New York market.

This role blends inventory control, fleet oversight, storage optimization, operational logistics, and urgent response. You will be the primary point of accountability during your shift—ensuring our vans, keys, storage facility, and cleaning logisitics are fully organized, stocked, and ready to support daily apartment turnovers and guest needs.

This is not a traditional warehouse role. It’s an operational ownership position requiring autonomy, organization, and reliability.

What You'll be Doing:

Inventory & Storage Operations

• Pick and stage daily operational orders for both operations and cleaning
• Unbox, stock, and restock supplies
• Monitor inventory levels and update Kanban systems
• Manage inbound and outbound inventory flow
• Assemble operational and cleaning kits as needed

Fleet Operations & Readiness

• Manage assigned parking spots for company vans
• Conduct daily van inspections, restocking, and cleaning
• Perform turnover inspections (photos, ratings, compliance submissions)
• Complete weekly van audits and spot-check inventory
• Record and report damage, maintaining accurate fleet status

Key & Access Management

• Maintain key cabinets and track key movement
• Coordinate key copying
• Ship keys for courier requests
• Provide lockout support when necessary

Operational & Cleaning Team Support

• Support laundry processing as needed
• Respond to urgent after-hours operational needs
• Ensure the New York market is fully operationally prepared each evening

Requirements

• Valid Driver's license
• Experience in inventory, warehouse, logistics, fleet, or operations roles preferred
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and problem-solve in real time
• Basic tech proficiency (apps, inventory systems, reporting tools)
• Reliable and accountable — this role requires ownership

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable standing and moving throughout the shift
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
