The position can be filled in full or part time.

Summary

For the “Calibration” department, we are looking for a “Calibration and testing of electrical systems and devices specialist (f/m/d)” at the Ulm site as soon as possible.

The “Calibration” department is integrated into the main “Production Tester” department as part of production. The tasks include the calibration and maintenance of various measuring equipment and test systems.

Your Tasks

  • Calibration and maintenance of various measuring devices and test systems

  • Independent execution of tasks including troubleshooting and carrying out adjustments and repairs

  • Creation of calibration, measurement and maintenance reports

  • Creation of error reports

  • Carrying out tests on electrical, portable devices in accordance with DGUV regulation 3 as well as system type tests, routine tests and repeat tests

  • Removal and installation of electrical and mechanical components and measuring devices on test systems

  • Testing electrical systems and devices in accordance with test specifications (e.g. test racks used to test our products, electrical equipment and connections in truck containers, systems in military vehicles)

Willingness to travel occasionally is required.

Your Profile

  • Completed vocational training in the field of electrical engineering or comparable

  • Experience in the field of refrigeration and air conditioning technology

  • Several years of professional experience in the testing of electrical systems and the operation of electrical systems

  • Regulated processes and procedures are important to you

  • Reliable, precise and independent way of working as well as a high level of commitment

  • Very good knowledge of electrical measurement technology  

  • Very good PC skills (Windows / MS Office)
